Pacers Anshul Kamboj (3/32) and Jamie Overton (1/23), spinner Noor Ahmed (2/26) stifled Mumbai, while skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad (67 off 48 balls) and 'Impact Sub' Kartik Sharma (54 off 40 balls) helped overhaul the target of 160 with 11 balls to spare. The duo stitched an unbeaten 98-run stand for the third wicket. The result lifted CSK to sixth place with eight points from nine matches, while Mumbai, languishing with just two wins in as many games, are now virtually out of playoff contention.
