East Coast Railway has announced its E-Auction Programme for the sale of railway scrap materials during September and October 2026. The auctions will be conducted for various divisions and units, including Mancheswar Depot, Khurda Road Division, Rayagada Division, and Sambalpur Division. The scrap materials proposed for auction include condemned rolling stock such as locomotives, coaches, and wagons, scrap rails, miscellaneous permanent way (P.Way) fittings including switches, crossings, fish plates, sleepers, and fish bolts. Other items include workshop scrap materials, ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, non-metallic scrap, condemned machinery and plants, condemned vehicles, condemned office equipment, and railway electrification scrap materials. All materials will be offered on an "As Is Where Is" basis. East Coast Railway reserves the right to include additional items in the auction catalogue. Interested bidders can access the complete auction catalogue, material details, and terms and conditions from the official website within seven days prior to the respective auction dates.
