SMC Global Securities Limited has issued a notice to its equity shareholders regarding the transfer of unpaid/unclaimed dividends and corresponding equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPF) under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable IEPF Rules, 2016. The notice informs shareholders that any dividend remaining unclaimed or unpaid for seven consecutive years or more related to the Final Dividend for the Financial Year 2018–2019 will become due for transfer to the IEPF Authority on or after 31 October 2026. Consequently, the equity shares linked to such unclaimed dividends will also be transferred to the demat account of the IEPF Authority. The company has stated that individual communications have already been sent to the concerned shareholders at their latest available addresses, advising them to claim their unpaid dividends before the due date to avoid transfer to the IEPF
