The Secretariat for the Selection Committee under Rule 19 of the Madhya Pradesh Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Rules, 2017, Office of the Commissioner, Urban Administration and Development, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal has issued an official advertisement dated 01.07.2026 (No. 9626) inviting applications for appointment to the posts of Chairperson and Member of the Madhya Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). For the post of Chairperson, applicants must possess adequate knowledge and a minimum of 20 years of professional experience in areas such as Urban Development, Housing, Real Estate Development, Infrastructure, Economics, Planning, Law, Commerce, Accountancy, Industry, Management, Social Service, Public Affairs, or Administration. Candidates with government service background must have held the post of Additional Secretary to the Central Government or an equivalent position in the Central or State Government. Eligibility conditions are as prescribed under Section 22 of the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016 read with Rule 19 of the M.P. RERA Rules, 2017. For the post of Member, applicants must have adequate knowledge and at least 15 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned fields. Government service candidates must have held the post of Secretary to the State Government or an equivalent rank in the Central or State Government. Eligibility conditions are also governed by Section 22 of the RERA Act, 2016 read with Rule 19 of the M.P. Rules, 2017. Selection will be based on overall service record, performance, and relevant assignments handled by the applicant.
