NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY has issued a public warning notice regarding the introduction of 25 kV AC electric traction in the Aligarh–Bareilly section under the Prayagraj Division. The notice applies specifically to Harduaganj yard line no. 15 (between KM 153/3025C to L-15/4A). As part of electrification safety measures, height gauges have been installed at all level crossings with a clear height of 4.78 meters above road level. These are intended to prevent vehicles with excessive height loads from coming into contact or dangerously close to live overhead traction wires, which will be at a minimum height of 5.5 meters above rail level at level crossings. Public are strictly advised to ensure that vehicle loads do not exceed the permitted height and must not infringe the installed height gauges under any circumstances.
