Numaligarh Refinery Limited, 122A G.S. Road, Christianbasti, Guwahati, Assam, hereby informs the general public that the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India, has granted Stage-II Forest Clearance under Section 2 of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, for diversion of 3.347 hectares of forest land in Odisha for project purposes. The diversion covers identified forest areas across Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur districts, including village forest lands under various tehsils and blocks such as Kujang, Mahakalpara, Chandbali, Tihidi, Bahanaga, Remuna, Basta, Jaleswar, and others. The approval has been granted vide letter No. 5-ORB549/2023-BHU dated 18.12.2024, subject to strict compliance with all stipulated conditions and safeguards laid down by the Ministry. The complete order and related conditions are available for public inspection during office hours at the offices of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Odisha), concerned Divisional Forest Officers, District Magistrates & Collectors, and Block Development Officers of the respective areas.
