Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Government of India enterprise, has issued a public notice regarding approval of petition for determination of transmission tariff for the 2024–29 tariff block under the Eastern Region Expansion Scheme (ERES-XXXVII) in accordance with the Electricity Act, 2003 and CERC regulations. The transmission system beneficiaries include state utilities of Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Damodar Valley Corporation, and CTUIL. The notice also provides details of transmission assets, capital cost, and tariff projections for the control period 2024–29. Stakeholders and interested persons may submit suggestions or objections to the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) within 30 days from the date of publication.
