The Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway) has issued a central government gazette notification (S.O. 4197(E), F. No. Y/GS/KCG Yard Remodeling/eGazette/2026/37A) declaring the Kacheguda Yard Remodeling project as a Special Railway Project for land acquisition to increase station line lengths (lines 3, 4, and 5) to accommodate full-length trains on the Secunderabad-Dhone section.
