The Government of Telangana has issued a preliminary notification for acquisition of approximately Ac. 0.20 guntas of land in Jajapur Village, Narayanpet Mandal, Narayanpet District. The land is proposed to be acquired for construction of a surge tank on the pressure main Stage-3, Jayamma Tank to Kankurthy Tank, under the Makthal–Narayanpet–Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme (MNKLIS). Affected/interested persons may file objections and claims regarding acquisition and compensation within 60 days from the date of publication of the notification, as per Section 15 of the RFCTLARR Act, 2013.
