The Department of Mines and Geology, Government of Jharkhand, has issued an order regarding the Bhangaon Iron Ore Block in West Singhbhum district. The Letter of Intent issued to M/s South West Mining Ltd., Bellary, Karnataka, expired on August 27, 2021. Due to non-compliance with terms, the auction process has been annulled under the Mineral (Auction) Rules, 2015, and approval has been granted for a fresh auction.
