A demand notice has been issued in Recovery Proceeding No. 9 of 2024 by the Debts Recovery Tribunal–1, Mumbai, Government of India, Ministry of Finance, in connection with Recovery Certificate arising out of O.A. No. 39 of 2014. The certificate holder, Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company Limited, has initiated execution proceedings against the certificate debtors in respect of outstanding dues amounting to ₹1,037,07,42,925.05 (approx. ₹1,037 crore) along with applicable contractual interest, penal interest, costs, and recovery expenses until full realization. The proceedings are directed against the Official Liquidator of M/s. Ankur Drugs and Pharma Ltd and other certificate debtors, including individuals named in the notice. The Recovery Officer has called upon the concerned parties to deposit the demanded amount within thirty days from receipt of the notice, failing which recovery action will be initiated as per law. The matter is listed for further proceedings on 15.07.2026 before DRT–1, Mumbai.
