HAV Mahendra Rai of Gangatey Tersoline, Darjeeling, has declared that his son Sashant Rai's date of birth was incorrectly recorded in his Army service records as 06 August 2013. The correct date of birth is 06 December 2012, as per the Aadhaar Card and Birth Certificate. The correction was made through Affidavit No. 286/26 dated 21 July 2026 before the Notary Public Court, Darjeeling.
