Since the name of Sangita Ghosh was mistakenly recorded on the birth certificate of her daughter, Saayna Ghosh, an affidavit was executed before the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Cooch Behar, on 22 September 2025. She is now officially known as Sangita Ghosh Podder.
