Logistics Manager (Based in Creutzwald, France) Location: This role is based in our Creutzwald Distribution Center facility. You must be a resident in France and will work on site with you team. Role Purpose: The position offers a range of diversified missions to support the growth of our business implemen ti ng innovative solutions while living and sharing our Leadership principles. You'll be part of our Leadership team and will manage a team of 4 direct reports composed of admin i strative and shopfloor specialists. The potential size of the whole team can reach up to 60 people including permanent and tempora r y workers. The job offers also the opportunity to expand your reach internationally partnering with our Retail Marketing and Commercial Teams across EMEA. Your role will be key in supervising Value Ad d ed Services activity (Displays assembling, labelling, co-packing) and Wizard Of The Coast (WOTC) fulfilment execution . What You'll do: To manage the Value-Added Services Department providing packaging, labels and customisation services to customers, Hasbro Sales and Marketing and European Quality Control departments within fixed deadlines and with a variable break-even budget target within a stand alone cost centre. To manage and plan WOTC activity into the DC liaising with WOTC sales and Ops Team, Supervisor DC and Transport Manager. Act as POC with internal and external stakeholders related to WOTC business. To provide visible and effective leadership to the VAS department; this comprises up to 60 staff both permanent and seasonal. To liaise with the agreed employment agency to effectively manage the VAS headcount in line with agreed production plans to ensure that the needs of the business are met. To ensure that the Creutzwald cluster business needs for both customer and promotional reworks are met efficiently and cost effectively. To provide strategic directions to the VAS team ensuring that the company vision is understood and translated in practical terms. To develop and maintain productive working relationships with Retail Fulfilment, Sales, Marketing and Quality Control departments to ensure the needs of the Creutzwald cluster business are met. To support the business in managing the process of year end returns with regards to agreement with contractual returns involved. To ensure completeness and accuracy of compliance controls with regards to waste and packaging European regulations with the support of Hasbro vendors What You'll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, supply chain or industrial engineering field or a related field. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in engaging effectively across all levels of the organization. High levels of resilience and operational execution, coupled with a people-centric approach. Capable of balancing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Thrives on taking ownership of tasks and looking for solutions to problems. Works collaboratively, ensuring all parties are informed of updates and impactful decisions. SAP and data analytics tool expertise for enabling data-driven decision making. Be fluent in English Bonus skills: Other Languages would be a bonus but are not essential. Ideally German or Italian.
