A luxury hotel in St. Petersburg is seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods for our hotel's restaurants, events, and room service. Responsibilities: - Create and prepare high-quality desserts, pastries, and other baked goods - Develop new recipes and menus to keep up with current trends - Ensure all products are prepared according to the hotel's standards and recipes - Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times - Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff - Order necessary ingredients and supplies to maintain inventory levels - Monitor food costs and minimize waste - Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus Requirements: - Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant setting - In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, flavors, ingredients, and decorations - Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dessert options - Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team - Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; degree in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred - Certification from a recognized culinary institute is a plus - Fluent in English; knowledge of Russian is an advantage - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds - Must have excellent hygiene standards Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience) City: St. Petersburg Preference: We welcome applications from Pakistani or African candidates who meet the requirements for this position.
