The Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, has issued a Notice Inviting Offers for Legacy Seismic Data Reprocessing and Interpretation (P&I) and 3D Seismic Data Acquisition, Processing and Interpretation (API) across sedimentary basins in India. The programme focuses on reprocessing existing seismic data to improve subsurface geological understanding, identify hydrocarbon prospective zones, and carry out advanced 3D seismic studies in selected regions. This initiative aims to enhance exploration efficiency, strengthen domestic energy security, and reduce dependency on hydrocarbon imports.
