Summary The Marketing Creative Director is responsible for shaping and maintaining the agency's visual identity, ensuring it consistently reflects the company's values, voice, and positioning across all internal and external touchpoints. This role guides the visual and conceptual expression of the overarching brand and its subbrands, globally, leading the creative direction for marketing campaigns, content development, and cross-functional collaborations. The Director owns the brand's visual language, overseeing the creative team and ensuring creative excellence across all outputs.This role is eligible to work a hybrid schedule generally requiring 2-3 days per week in-office based out of Philadelphia, PA or surrounding regions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Brand Stewardship Own and maintain the look, feel, and tone of the brand, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, from logo usage to social media output. Establish and evolve brand guidelines, visual standards, and messaging frameworks. Act as a consultant to the Creative team, providing guidance and expertise on brand-related projects. Establish and enforce rigorous quality control standards, reviewing all creative output before release to ensure brand consistency and creative excellence. Stay abreast of emerging design trends, technological advancements, and audience behaviors, identifying opportunities to evolve and refresh the brand. Proactively propose and implement innovative creative solutions that enhance brand engagement and impact. Creative Direction for Marketing Campaigns and Content Development Oversee the visual and conceptual development of all agency and subbrand-focused marketing campaigns, including thought leadership pieces, social media, recruitment materials, and event branding. Provide creative direction and guidance for the development of videos, graphics, presentations, executive communications, and digital assets. Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and effectively communicates the company's message. Leadership & Team Management Partner strategically with the executive team on high-level projects to ensure a unified and elevated brand presence across all departments. Manage and mentor in-house designers and external creative partners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing creative environment. Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members. Identify, select, and manage external creative partners (e.g., Superside) to supplement in-house creative capabilities, ensuring alignment with brand standards and project objectives. Education & Experience Extensive knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, print and digital capabilities, and marketing/advertising principles. 10+ years of proven experience in a creative leadership role; brand experience preferred. BA preferred. Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to prioritize, manage, and efficiently complete multiple projects to meet shifting deadlines. Expertise in relevant creative software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). A strong understanding of current design trends and emerging technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire creative teams. A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates creative vision and brand building.
