SAP Finance Manager, Application Development and Maintenance Cardinal Health•Trenton, NJ• What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications. Responsibilities Execution and management of the SAP Finance functionality that supports the enterprise Responsible for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings in finance functional areas Overall solution ownership of incidents, defects, enhancements, and new build for SAP Finance Planning, monitoring, organizing, and delivering projects. Attract, retain, and develop talent. Maintain relationships with all key stakeholders. Provide leadership and direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management. Collaborating with other process tower leaders (OTC, PTP, SCE, RTR, R&I, and non-SAP systems) to ensure a cohesive solution Qualifications 8-12 years of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred 10+ years' experience in SAP Finance Build/Run, preferred Full-Cycle SAP Finance implementation experience SAP Finance Solution discovery, options analysis and build guidance. Strong collaboration and leadership skills Strong business acumen in finance and accounting Superior knowledge of processes and technology with deep hands-on knowledge in all the areas of the SAP Finance domain Prior work experience in SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) is a plus Excellent organizational skills What is expected of you and others at this level Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals Ensures employees operate within guidelines Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects Gains consensus from various parties involved Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $193,930 Bonus eligible: Yes Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
