The Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions in specialized defence-related research areas.
INMAS is engaged in advanced research focused on radiological defence, radiation countermeasures, rapid radiation dose assessment for emergency response, and support for triage and decision-making during radiological incidents. The institute also contributes to cbRNe training for armed forces, paramilitary forces, and national security agencies, as well as research in neuroscience and human performance relevant to defence applications.

Research Associate (RA): 04 Posts
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 11 Posts
Stipend
Research Associate: ₹67,000 per month plus HRA
Junior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 per month plus HRA
Eligibility and Age Limit
RA: Maximum age 35 years
JRF: Maximum age 28 years
Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years
Tenure
Research Associate: Up to 2 years
Junior Research Fellow: Up to 5 years
