About the job 🌍 About the Role Are you passionate about working with international patients and creating a seamless treatment journey from abroad to Turkey? We are looking for a Health Tourism Specialist to join our client, a growing health tourism company in Istanbul, and support their international expansion. You will manage the end-to-end patient journey – from first contact to post-treatment follow-up – and be a key part of the international growth story. Key Responsibilities 🗣️ Act as the primary contact for international patients via WhatsApp, e-mail, phone and digital channels 🔎 Understand patient needs and expectations; guide them to appropriate treatment options with the medical team 📄 Prepare and coordinate treatment plans and cost estimates with doctors, hospitals and partner clinics ✈️ Manage the full travel & treatment journey (flights, accommodation, ground transfers, appointment scheduling, treatment timeline and interpreter / translator arrangements) 😊 Ensure high patient satisfaction through clear, timely and empathetic communication before, during and after treatment 💻 Record all interactions and process steps accurately in CRM / patient management systems 📚 Work in full compliance with health tourism regulations, data privacy (KVKK / GDPR) and internal policies 🤝 Cooperate closely with sales, marketing and operations teams to improve patient experience and conversion rates Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Health Management, Tourism, Business Administration, International Relations or related fields preferred) 2–3+ years of experience in health tourism / medical tourism in a similar role Fluent English (spoken & written) – able to manage daily communication and documentation in English Experience in managing international patient processes (lead management, pre-approval, treatment planning, travel, aftercare) Strong communication and negotiation skills with high empathy Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Strong planning, follow-up and attention to detail Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with CRM / patient management systems Preferred Qualifications Additional foreign language (German, French, Arabic, etc.) is a strong plus Experience working with patients from different regions (Europe, UK, Middle East, CIS, etc.) Knowledge of health tourism legislation, documentation and international patient procedures 🎯 What You Will Find Here A growing scale-up environment in the health tourism sector Exposure to international patients and a multicultural working atmosphere Opportunity to work closely with doctors, hospitals and global partners A supportive, dynamic and result-oriented team Continuous learning and development opportunities
