What you need to do:
Manage and coordinate the activities of a Frontend department of 40+ employees;
Solve operational and strategic tasks;
Participate in the recruitment and adaptation of employees (together with the HR department);
Conduct performance reviews, work with grades, engagement, motivation and employee retention;
Work with P&L of a direction or project: forecasting revenue, expenses, marginality;
Calculate rates, load efficiency and team economics;
Participate in negotiations with clients, resolve controversial and conflict situations on projects;
Develop the company's internal products.
What we expect from a candidate:
You have experience in directly managing teams of 20 to 40 people;
You know how to work through team leads/managers so as not to drown in operational details and minimize chaos;
You know how to support an employee and join the team, but you also know that you need to think about the business and the results;
You are proficient in performance review, grading, motivation, employee retention, recruitment, and onboarding tools;
Experience in project management using modern Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies, hybrid models;
Experience in crisis management: we brought projects out of breakdowns and “raised” problematic teams;
Experience with P&L: you can forecast revenue, expenses, and profit, or understand the main points of economic calculation;
You know how to calculate rates, margins and determine the effectiveness of teams;
You know how to speak with management in the language of money, and not just tasks;
Experience in negotiating with clients at the level of resolving work issues, as well as launching projects;
Experience in resolving controversial/conflict situations;
Experience working with products (for example: a website, corporate trackers), you know how to deliver results and understand how to do it) and understand the difference between products that make money and "service" products for business.
Don't write code, but can understand architecture, assess risks, and ask the right questions;
You can translate a business problem into technical language for the team;
Stress resistance, cool pragmatism, always keep focus on the 20% of effort that gives 80% of the results, proactivity, autonomy, responsibility.
