For over 50 years, R&D Circuits has been a leader in the printed circuit board industry.Primary Responsibilities:- Set up and operate numerical-control drilling machines to drill holes into printed circuit boards according to specifications.- Load program files containing programmed commands into the machine or enter commands to retrieve programmed control data.- Review setup instructions, blueprints, and work orders to determine drilling requirements and machine settings.- Load and unload PCB panels onto drilling machines, ensuring proper alignment and securing.- Maintain drill bits, replacing worn or damaged ones to ensure optimal performance and hole quality.- Monitor the drilling process to ensure the quality of holes.- Perform quality control checks using measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with drilling equipment or processes.- Maintain and clean drilling equipment regularly.- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow.- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and quality inspection results.- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce defects.
