The University of Kashmir has announced that Saima Jan, daughter of Ab Ahad Shah (University Registration No. 81-SLC-2008), has been declared qualified for the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Law. She pursued the Integrated Ph.D. Programme on a full-time basis and submitted her thesis titled "Impact of Changing Dimensions of Identity Theft: A Comparative Study of Law in USA and India" under the supervision of Dr. Anna Bashir, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, University of Kashmir. The Ph.D. degree was awarded on June 24, 2026.
