The University of Kashmir has announced that Mehvish Mehraj, daughter of Mehraj ud Din Zargar (University Registration No. 175-PHD-2022), has been declared qualified for the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Law. She pursued the Integrated Ph.D. Programme on a full-time basis and submitted her thesis titled "Right to Education of Refugee Children in India: An Empirical Study of Delhi-NCR" under the supervision of Dr. Anna Bashir, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, University of Kashmir. The Ph.D. degree was awarded on May 11, 2026.
