Description: The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, has announced the temporary closure of the Gumra Bridge located at Km 184+106 on the Ratacherra–Badarpur section of NH-06 (formerly NH-44) in Cachar district, Assam. The bridge will remain closed to all kinds of traffic for 12 days from 6 July 2026 to 18 July 2026 to facilitate essential repair and rehabilitation work. Road users are advised to plan their travel accordingly and follow official traffic advisories during the closure period.
