Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated NHPC's 300 MW Karnisar Solar Power Plant in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on July 4, 2026.The project is expected to generate 750 million units of clean electricity annually using domestically manufactured solar components.The inauguration was attended by dignitaries including the Governor and Chief Minister of Rajasthan, along with Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas.
