The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board regional office in Sonbhadra has announced a public environmental hearing scheduled for August 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM in Bhagwa village under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate to review a minor mineral sand mining project proposal submitted by M/s Paras Nath Singh over a 6.575-hectare plot in accordance with Ministry of Environment regulations.
