West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has issued a notice to bond holders regarding the transfer of unclaimed interest on Secured Non-Convertible Redeemable Bonds to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Account under Section 125 of the Companies Act, 2013. Bond holders who have not claimed interest for seven consecutive years, including interest relating to FY 2019-20, are advised to verify their status and submit valid claims before the transfer process is completed. In the absence of a valid claim, the unclaimed interest amount will be transferred to the IEPF Account without further notice. After transfer, claims can only be made through the IEPF Authority as per applicable rules.
