Emily Jane Browning is an Australian actress and singer who got her start in acting after a classmate's father noticed her in a school play. Her film debut came in 1998 with the Hallmark TV movie The Echo of Thunder. She went on to appear in television shows like High Flyers, Something in the Air, and Blue Heelers. Her big break came with a lead role in the horror film Ghost Ship.
