Apart from his association with India's substantial and significant film industry, he gained approval for his performance in a Maggi tomato ketchup advertisement aired in the 1990s. He is a noted impressionist, famous for his role in Bombay Boys, starring in its hit song I am Mumbhai. He is well known for his portrayals of Mumbai hoodlums referred to as taporis within Mumbai and the state of Maharashtra. He has been running and hosting a highly popular dance show called Boogie Woogie since 1996 on Sony Entertainment Television, and giving dubbed commentary to the famous Japanese television show Takeshi's Castle on Pogo TV. He is the son of comedian Jagdeep.
