Four persons, including three women and a man, were killed after being hit by a train near Chebrolu Railway Station in Unguturu mandal of Eluru district on Saturday night. According to the Railway Police, the victims were run over by the Cherlapally–Shalimar Special Train (08046). The Tadepalligudem Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information about the incident. All four died on the spot. Based on the preliminary investigation, the police suspect that the incident may have been a case of suicide. During the investigation, police recovered an ATM card in the name of Sheikh Haseena from one of the deceased women. They also found an RTC parking receipt issued by the Tadepalligudem RTC Depot on another deceased person, along with two damaged mobile phones at the scene. A case has been registered, and the Railway Police have launched an investigation to establish the identities of the deceased and determine the exact cause of the incident.
