TWO men have been hospitalised with “serious” injuries following a road crash in County Down yesterday – as cops appeal for witnesses. The collision, involving a red Volkswagen Jetta, occurred in Kinallen around 12.40pm. Emergency services and police rushed to the scene on Katesbridge Road after the alarm was raised. The driver and passenger, aged 19 and 22, were both taken to hospital for treatment. PSNI officers today confirmed their injuries are believed to be serious. Inspector Lawson said: “At approximately 12.40pm on Saturday, 30th May police responded to a collision involving a red Volkswagen Jetta in the Katesbridge Road area.
