Fire-fighters probing the major fire broke out in Erythro Pharma at Gaddapotharam in Sangareddy district three days ago suggested the cause was static discharge during reactor loading. According to officials, a fire call at Erythro Pharma, Gaddapotharam, in Sangareddy district last Monday was successfully resolved thanks to a swift, coordinated response by fire fighting teams. Fire broke out in solvent drums in the ground plus one building with heavy smoke. Upon receiving information, fire tenders from Patancheru, Jeedimetla, and Narsapur were mobilized immediately. The fire was controlled with support from the Hetero Water Tender and the facility’s internal hydrant systems and the flames were completely extinguished. However, no one was injured. Initial investigations suggest the cause was static discharge during reactor loading. Great work by all teams involved for their effective and timely action.
