A major fire accident after a loud explosion at midnight, here, in Kalalwada Colony of Miryalaguda, left residents shocked. According to local sources, the fire reportedly started due to an electrical short circuit, which caused a gas cylinder inside the house to explode. The blast led to the rapid spread of flames, engulfing the house. The fire intensified quickly, and the house was destroyed. It is reported that Chandramma (45), along with her grandson Lakshman and granddaughter Praneethi, was unable to escape from the burning house and lost their lives in the incident. As most residents were asleep at the time, it took some time for the accident to be noticed. After hearing the explosion, colony residents rushed and attempted rescue efforts, but the flames had already spread. Upon receiving information about the incident, fire department personnel and police officers arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control. The bodies of the deceased were recovered and shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination.
